As he was speaking, a woman in the crowd called out, “God bless your mother-the womb from which you came, and the breasts that nursed you!” Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.” Lk11:27-28. When we act on a word or good advice we reap the benefit. I’m certain some of us may have failed to act on good advice in the past and regretted it later. Yet God’s Word is all good, so when we step out and act on it, God will accelerate His plans for our life. God’s Word is a road map for life, so we won’t miss His best for us if we start to walk in His ways and keep to it. Many people have missed some of God’s best for them, when they’ve not trusted God and allowed the fear of man or failure to stop them from stepping out in faith. Praise God today that He is faithful and true and as we choose to walk in His ways we will be blessed in everything that we do.
