Hearing this, Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid; just believe, and she will be healed.” … They laughed at him, knowing that she was dead.  But he took her by the hand and said, “My child, get up!”LK8:53-54. Don’t let others rob you of your miracle. Whilst others doubts attempt to weaken your resolve it also provides the opportunity to take a stand for God’s faithfulness. Even when Jarius heard His friends laugh when Jesus said his daughter was asleep, he didn’t let what he could see limit the power of a limitless God that He was yet to see. Its in our moments of weakness that we must keep holding onto God and also to remember that often the journey is more important than the destination as it’s in those times we are strengthened and God can do something new in our lives. Thank Him today for His faithfulness that He is always there for us regardless of what others say or what is going on around us.
