No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Ph 3:13-14. Even the apostle Paul had to deal with past issues and put them behind Him! As we start this year don’t lament on past disappointments, but use this month to look ahead in your time with God. If you need to deal with any sin, repent before God, draw a line in the sand and move on. If there is anything you would like to fix or change, then build that into your planning and bring it before God. This year is the start of the rest of your life, so make it the best! Praise God today that His mercies are renewed each morning so that we can make a fresh start and grow from strength to strength this year in whatever we commit to God.
