For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Pet 1:5-8. When we receive the divine nature of Christ into our life our priorities change, and what once was important is no longer a priority. It becomes our desire to know more of God, drawing nearer to Him and walking with Him in a way that bears wonderful fruit in our life and the lives of others for His glory. Praise God today that as we align ourselves with His desires for our life, we will find true joy and fulfilment as we live a life that pleases Him.
