So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ. Rom10:17. Faith is built on trust, trust is built on knowing and knowing comes from reading the Word of God and spending time with Him. We need to stir ourselves up and not allow our first love to fade. God is the same yesterday, today and forever and If the same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you, surely He can bring life into every situation you are dealing with now. Spend time in the Word and let your faith arise as you read about the wonderful things that Jesus did and said that’s still touching lives today. Be encouraged by the thousands of promises in God’s Word that are there for us today. God has already fulfilled them in our life, we just need to claim them and lay hold of them by faith. Thank Jesus that we can have right standing with God today through Him, so that in Him we can live an abundant life.
