If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, He will show you a way out so that you can endure. 1 Cor 10:12-13. Temptation effects all of us at different times. However God will not allow us to be tempted beyond our ability to resist and will always provide an exit when we look to Him for strength. At times we need the humility to acknowledge our weakness and come before the throne of grace, otherwise if we are too confident in our own ability, we may succumb to the very thing we are trying to resist. If you are struggling with anything today, ask Him to strengthen you. Thank Jesus today that in Him you can stand strong and draw on His strength to resist those things that could bring bondage in your life.
