Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living. Rom 6:16. What are you choosing to follow? Some people are chasing material gain, some worldly recognition, whilst others are giving into their addictions. Jesus has set us free from the need to chase material security and worldly approval. As we keep our eyes on Him and not on our needs, He’ll make a way in all things. As we keep our eyes on Him and resist temptation He’ll help us to break the stronghold of addictions in our life. Jesus came to set us free to so we can live life to the full, and fills our heart with His love as assurance of the eternal hope we have in Him. Praise. God today that as we keep our eyes on Him and walk in His ways, we will live in fullness of the freedom and liberty He desires for our life.
