The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time. PS 34:19. We live in a world where bad things happen to good people. We can’t control how people will react to us and we can’t always avoid being caught up in the midst of other peoples problems, but we can control how we react to them. Our response mirrors our faith, we can draw straight into God and His wisdom, where He will protect us, or we can bite back and find ourselves making a bad situation worse. God never said we would have a trouble free life, but if we keep close to Him, we can keep our peace in the most turbulent times. If we know that God will protect us, we can rest in that confidence and see God’s sovereign hand move in amazing ways. Praise God today that He is always there for us, looking after us. Ask Him to be your strength and your peace in whatever you’re going through, and He will make a way.
