So when you have repented and turned to me again, strengthen your brothers.” Peter said, “Lord, I am ready to go to prison with you, and even to die with you.” But Jesus said, “Peter, let me tell you something. Before the rooster crows tomorrow morning, you will deny three times that you even know me.” Lk22:31-34. Jesus knows what lies ahead for us. He intercedes and prays for us when our adversary would seek to take us down. Peter had no idea what lay ahead, but Jesus did. He knew Peter would deny He knew Jesus 3 times, after Jesus was arrested. You are not alone, Jesus is with you, His Holy Spirit dwells inside of you and is always with you to guide you. Praise God today that He will never leave you nor forsake you, and as you call out to God, He will be there for you and step in the gap for you when everything seems too much.
