Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. Don’t repay evil for evil. Don’t retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it. 1Pet3:8b-9. Don’t let others put a hook of aggression in your spirit. If others insult you or speak wrongly towards you,keep a humble spirit and don’t repay evil for evil. Instead pray for them and bless them. This is totally contrary to what the world would do, but you retain your peace, de-escalate the situation and bring honour to God. Remain tender hearted and let compassion towards others become a key fruit in your life. God will bless you through times of difficulty as you keep close to Him and allow Him to move in your situation. Praise God today that as we keep close to him and bless those who would hurt us,we can walk in peace through the most turbulent of situations.
