Fools think their own way is right, but the wise listen to others. Pr 12:15. We see life through the lens of our own experiences. A fool will not recognise that there are other ways of seeing things whilst a wise person will spend time to listen or seek counsel from others and then form a balanced view. God’s Word is His lens for us on life in the world. His Word is a fundamental part of fulfilling the Lord’s prayer “thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”, to guide us in His ways to live the best life possible that God has for us. As we weave God’s Word into our daily life, it will change us and God’s wisdom will grow in our life. As we draw nearer to Him and wait on Him the Holy Spirit will also guide our path and our decisions. Praise God today that His way is the best way. As we learn to trust Him more and more we will see His grace and mercy move in greater measure in our life.
