But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” 1Sam 16:7. The world looks at appearance, and status whilst the Lord look at the depth of a persons heart towards God and his fellow man. A true character of a person is visible in the way they treat others,and in their words.  Each of us are complex in our own way,having been shaped by life’s experiences. Yet we’re completely transparent before God,that is a good thing. There is nothing He doesn’t know that He can’t help us with as we come before Him. He loves us just as we are, but He loves us too much to leave us that way. Praise God today that as we come before Him with an open heart, He will bring healing into those areas we may be struggling with that we bring before Him.
