For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isa 9:6 Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice oh world! We have not been forgotten, even 400 years before Jesus was born Isaiah the prophet fortold the world – we won’t need to fear the turbulence in the world, for a saviour will be born, who will take away our hopelessness and put inside of us an eternal future and confidence in Him. As we keep our eyes on Him, and our hearts with Him, we will walk through the fiercest storms, conqueror the highest mountains and come to know peace beyond words and the power of His presence as we will never walk alone. Praise God today. Thank Jesus that He is the reason for the season and why we give to others in love as He has to us. Be blessed this Christmas and filled with His love beyond measure.
