Then Jesus told him, “I entered this world to render judgment-to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”Jn 9:39. Jesus shines light into dark places. He healed on the Sabbath to challenge those who were caught up in the rules rather that the principles of the law. The Sabbath was Gods gift of rest to man, not an impost of rigid observance. Many people who think they see have formed their own ideas about God, Jesus and eternity. Yet with so much at stake, Jesus came into the world to show people the way. If people would look at what Jesus did and what He taught, they would soon see that He is the true light and the way. Psalm 34 says “taste and see that God is good”. Jesus still heals today,He still binds up the broken hearted and sets the captives free. Thank Jesus today that we can walk with Him everyday and live in the freedom and liberty He gave us at Calvary.
