The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. PS28:7. Passion is a measure of relationship. David had a passion for God, He knew, that He knew, that he knew! that God would not fail Him. In his victory he burst forth in song like an overflow of joy just gushing from inside him to praise God. It’s in our time with God that our love develops and our passion grows. When we really reflect on what Jesus did for us, you can’t help but to love Him even more. God is to be experienced and not just read about. God doesn’t exist in ink, but in our hearts and in our daily lives where the hand of God moves with us and for us as we spend time with Him. Praise Him today. Let a song of joy just burst forth from your heart as you reflect on how blessed you are to have a personal relationship with your Lord and saviour.
