For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows. 1Tim 6:10. Wealth is a very poor measure of character, yet the media constantly revere the rich and famous and their material assets. However there are many wealthy people who are struggling with the emotions of life, relationships, family etc just like other people. For some money is like an addiction, they can’t get enough and will compromise their values to get what they want. A persons heart is where their treasure is. If you keep your eyes on God, and seek Him and His righteousness with all your heart, He will meet all your needs from emotional, relational, financial and other needs. Praise God today that as we put our trust in Him and not in the love of money, we can find fulfilment in every area of our life as He will never let us down.
