I took my troubles to the Lord; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer. Ps 120:1.  Prayer changes everything. It recognises who we are in God and our dependency on Him. It gives God the liberty to move on our behalf where we can’t go. When we fail to pray we leave our spiritual front door open to unseen influences that can negatively impact our life. I love what Corrie ten Boom said about prayer “The wonderful thing about praying is that you leave a world of not being able to do something, and enter God’s realm where everything is possible.” When we pray all things become possible as God is our Heavenly Father who loves His children, us, and will respond to our prayers. Praise God today that He is not just our helper in our times of need, but also the lover of our soul who desires us to draw nearer to Him, so that He can guide us into the very best He has for our life.
