I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you. Ps 119:11. When you love someone it becomes your desire to please them, as your happiness becomes intrinsically lined to their happiness, where you feel what they feel. We demonstrate our love for God in the same way. He has given us His Word from His heart, to guide us into the best life possible. When we deviate from His word we miss out on His best for our life. As we immerse ourselves in His word, our heart will become like a sponge and soak up His guidance for our life, and keys for drawing closer to Him. Love desires to please. So as we keep His word hidden in our heart, it will become our natural response to situations we find in life. If we do struggle, God has also promised to give us the wisdom we need when we ask Him. Praise God today that He gave us His Word so that we can walk in His ways to live the best life possible.
