This was written over 700 years before the birth of Christ. There are over 300 prophetic references to Jesus in the Old Testament that were fulfilled in His miraculous birth. God had even planned His lineage. God has planned mans redemption through Jesus even before creation. He knew man would fail Him, but His love for you and me far outweighed the cost He would have to pay through Jesus His son, dying on the cross for the sins of all humanity, to pay a price that we couldn’t pay. Praise God today that whilst the world celebrates baby Jesus at Christmas, we can also celebrate our victorious Jesus who grew into a man to become our Saviour, who conquered sin and death so that we can live with the Father in Heavenly places forever.
