Then she lived as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the Temple but stayed there day and night, worshiping God with fasting and prayer. Lk 2:37. Walking with God is exciting. It can be heart racing as you sense His voice directing you to stand firm or to take the next step onto something you never thought possible. There is fulfilment in spending time with God as you worship and come into his presence. His glory will saturate you and fill you with His love. All your problems will seem to fade away as you are refreshed in a blanket of His peace that transcends all understanding. Your prayer time should be exciting as you engage with God with all your heart and not just your head. Walking with God is not just one sided but about sharing, listening and waiting on Him. Just worship Him today. Sing Him songs of praise and don’t stop until you sense His glory touch you and draw you closer to Him.
