Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1Jn 4:7-8. Our love for one another flows from our salvation. It’s God’s love in us bursting out to touch a lost and hurting world. Love is alive, it’s passionate, it cares, it seeks to right wrongs, to bless and to be there for those in need. Love reaches beyond those we care for to the unloveable. When your actions speak louder than your words you are telling the world that you’re a child of God. When you bless someone one on the street, and love the unloveable, when you help those who can’t help themselves, your hands become like the hands of God. Thank God today for the blessings He has given you. Let God’s love oveflow to touch someone today, even if it’s just a call to spend some time with someone who needs you.
