Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”Jn 6:29. When we believe in Jesus and allow Him to become the centre of our life, we become God focussed. We bring God into the centre of our thoughts, actions and attitudes so that His desires will become our desires. Our heart will increase towards others as will our capacity for forgiveness and compassion that will direct our actions. As Jesus moves from the inside of our heart into the reality of our world, our peace will increase, our hope in Him will become second nature and our faith will become unshakeable. We will act on what we believe – that Jesus in us is greater than the challenges around us. So thank Jesus today that He is our rock and cornerstone, and as we believe in Him and stand on His Word, we will draw down the promises of God into our life and live the life that God always intended us to live.
