If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a fellow believer, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? 1 Jn 4:20. If we truly love God, His love will flow through our life to touch others. Hating others will be a continual source of pain until you deal with it. It won’t sit right in your heart until you can find peace. That peace may require you to forgive. Don’t let  past pains spoil your tomorrow, make a decision to forgive today. That forgiveness does not necessarily mean trusting again – that must be earned. If you need to be reconciled, do it now, don’t wait, and your burdens will just roll off from your shoulders. This is exactly what Jesus desires for your life – freedom and liberty. Praise God today that Jesus came to set us free from the burdens and pain that stop us from living in the fullness He always intended for us.
