Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up in honor. Jm 4:10. God knows us better than we know ourselves, so there is no point in keeping a facade or making excuses before God. When we come to Him in humility and share our stresses, our failings and keep ourselves open and vulnerable before Him, the light of the Holy Spirit will start to shine more brightly in our lives, and any darkness we have been struggling with will have to flee. We will hear Gods promptings with greater clarity and the fog that has made it harder to sense God’s guidance will dissipate to clear the way forward. In our humility we move closer to God and God moves closer to us. In our walk with God His blessings and favour will flow as we keep close to Him always. Praise God today for His love beyond measure that desires to lift us up as we walk openly before Him in humility, where together all things become possible.
