When Paul and Silas left the prison, they returned to the home of Lydia. There they met with the believers and encouraged them once more. Acts 16:40. The power of encouragement should never be underestimated. Just one word can change someone’s outlook, their expectations and their life. God has put seeds of greatness in all of us, and sometimes it needs a little help to nurture them, for them grow and take root. Encouragement changes the atmosphere to one of hope and expectation. Make encouraging others a part of your daily lifestyle and you will be sowing seeds of hope and expectation that money can’t buy. A daily word of encouragement can also make people feel appreciated in an often thankless world. Encouraging others is God’s love blessing others through your words. Praise God today that His Word is a continual source of encouragement in our life. Make it your goal to encourage atleast 1 person per day.
