You are His child and He is your heavenly Father who loves you beyond measure. God sees the big picture in your life and He knows the steps you must take and the paths you must travel. Whilst we may only see the trials and mountains ahead, God can see the beauty and abundant blessings on the other side. God can turn bad situations around and use them for our good, but staying close to God is key for keeping on the path before you and for seeing His guiding light at your feet.
