But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mat 20:26-28. We must serve as Kings and rule as servants. It is all about the heart. God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called. God is not looking for someone who thinks they know it all but someone who knows they don’t know enough but are willing to learn. Jesus, God’s son, lead by example and was born to serve others. Leadership is an incredible responsibility and we must also lead by example with a heart of humility and compassion.  We are representatives of Jesus, God’s ambassadors. Our life is our witness and must honour God. Praise Him today that His love is always there to show us the way in whatever capacity we are called.
