But as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep.  “How I wish today that you of all people would understand the way to peace. But now it is too late, and peace is hidden from your eyes. Before long your enemies will ….. crush you into the ground, and your children with you. Your enemies will not leave a single stone in place, because you did not accept your opportunity for salvation.” Lk 19:41-42,44. Jesus changes the hearts of people. Had Jerusalem accepted Gods gift, Jesus, His son into their hearts, God would have changed them from the inside out. They would have desired peace and not war, reconciliation and not retaliation against the Romans and history would have painted a very different picture for the Isralite people. Thank Jesus today that when you invited Him into your heart He made  all things brand new and began to an unfold an exciting new plan for your life.
