My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me. Jn 10:27-28. Jesus is always speaking to us, but He is often drowned out by the busyness of life and the other louder voices that we focus on. When we wait on Him, we can hear Him, and know it’s Him. He speaks to us each in different ways, whether it’s an impression, a picture, a vision, a thought, or His gentle voice speaking into our spirit. As we listen to Him, He will guide our steps and impart His wisdom into whatever situations we may be facing. As we walk with Him daily, He will be our strength, assurance and comfort. He will cover us and protect us so that no one can ever draw us away from Him. Thank Jesus today that He always speaks to us, ready to guide us as we spend time to listen and to follow His direction for our life.
