The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name. When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.” Ps 91:14-16. God is closer to you than the air you breathe. Yet we don’t realise how much He loves us and desires to do in our life until we accept Jesus into our heart and our eyes are opened to the reality that He is true love that will never fail us. As we desire to draw nearer to God, our love for Him will increase. We’ll realise that He is always there for us, and as we call out to Him, He will be our protector and our redeemer whose desire it is to fill us with His peace, and to make us whole in every part of our life. Praise God today that it’s His desire that we live a long and fulfilled life as we keep close to Him and trust Him.
