In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground, begging to be healed. “Lord,” he said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared. Lk5:12-13. God is willing if we are. The leper intensely pleaded for Jesus to heal Him and Jesus was willing to heal him. In fact Jesus is still willing to heal us today, if we come before Him, knowing that He is God and that all things are possible through Him. We must set our eyes on Him and not doubt in our heart that Jesus can do what He says He can. As we cling to Him,He will guide us through. Praise God today that He is the same yesterday, today and forever, and as we come before the throne of grace we can know that God is willing, and that He still heals today.
