The LORD is my light and my salvation- so why should I be afraid? The LORD is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble? PS 27:1. God shines His light into our darkness to declare that we will have the ultimate victory and eternal life with Him. Jesus came to set us free from the chains that bind us so we can rest in Him and trust Him always. He gives us an unshakeable foundation that will grow stronger and deeper in our life, the closer we draw to Him. He is our rock and our fortress, and as we declare that daily in our life, we will stand so much stronger in the face of adversity and strife, that Jesus said will always be with us in this world. Rather than worry, continually declare God’s favour and victory in whatever situation you may be facing. Praise God today that He is our strength and fortress in all situations, and if He is for us who can be against us!!
