Temptation comes from our own desires, which entice us and drag us away. These desires give birth to sinful actions. And when sin is allowed to grow, it gives birth to death. Jam 1:14-15. We must resist temptation that is the gateway to sin in our life. We will all be effected by temptation, no one is immune, but we must resist and reject those thoughts that can drag us down a wrong path and replace them with thoughts of Jesus who is our strength,our shield, and our guiding light who will make a way through every situation. Avoidance is always the best measure, so don’t put yourself into places of potential compromise where you know you struggle with an issue. God will always provide an exit as He will not allow us to be tempted beyond our ability to resist, so use it. Praise God today that He is our strength in times of weakness and although we may face temptations, He will always help us to get through.
