If someone says, “I love God,” but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we cannot see? 1 Jn 4:20. If we truly live in the reality of God’s love then it shouldn’t be possible to hate a fellow brother or sister. When God’s love truly captures our heart and fills us with His presence, and our heart abides in the Fathers heart, then our natural response towards others will be love – God’s love flowing through us to touch them. This is the place where God wants us to be, where we are walking in His love, it’s His love flowing through us that will determine our response towards others. That’s why the apostle John said it’s not possible to say you love God and then say you hate your brother. Praise God today for His love in our life, that gives us His heart, His way and His perspective on all things that happen in our life.
