The words of the godly are a life-giving fountain; the words of the wicked conceal violent intentions. Pr 10:11. Every decision and action you do should be motivated by love. God’s love in you gives you His heart for others. As you look at others with His heart, you will show mercy rather than retribution, forgiveness rather than revenge, love instead of hate. The world wants to get even and plots on how to get its own way at any cost. Revenge belongs to God, not to us, so turn over your hurts and pain to Him and let Him deal with those. The power of true love can override the worst of all evil intentions. Even when the world had rejected God, out of His overwhelming love for us, God sent Jesus to die on a cross to pay a price we couldn’t pay to restore us to Himself. Thank God today for His insatiable love for us that never fails, and as we live out of God’s love, our joy and peace will only increase.
