And I have been a constant example of how you can help those in need by working hard. You should remember the words of the Lord Jesus: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ Acts 20:35. We can experience real joy in our lives through giving. When you make a difference in someone’s life you will be filled with such joy that is so much more fulfilling than just receiving. As we choose a lifestyle of generosity in our giving to others, either in our time, support, finance or whatever way we may feel lead, we will also be blessed. Generous people always seem to have enough. As you start to care for others you will find that your own needs will also be wonderfully met.
