So the trouble is not with the law, for it is spiritual and good. The trouble is with me, for I am all too human, a slave to sin. I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. Rom 7:14. The apostle Paul acknowledged his struggle with sin, even with every good intention he would still mess up. It’s for this reason, our frail humanity, that Jesus redeemed us by His grace so that by accepting His gift of eternal life we could walk with Him in new freedom and liberty… So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. Rom 8:1. This is something we could never ever earn, God’s free gift of forgiveness and release from those things that have held us bound. Thank Jesus today that in Him we have been made brand new, the past has been wiped clean and by grace we have been made right before God. Rejoice in Him today, rejoice!!!
