My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Gal 2:20. When we accepted Jesus into our life we were totally renewed. We were given the Spirit of Christ to breathe eternal life and hope into our being. We were given the mind of Christ so we could see things God’s way and draw on His wisdom. We were given God’s heart of compassion so we could love the unloveable, learn to forgive and to be God’s peacemakers in the earth. We were covered in the righteousness of Jesus so we could be reconciled to God and become His sons and daughters with full access to all of the promises in His Word for every area of our life. Thank Jesus today that in Him we live and move and have our being, and that in Him we can face each day with expectancy, peace and joy in our heart.
