A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. Eph 6:10-11. We must protect ourselves spiritually just as much as we take care of ourselves physically. Just as we take vitamins to protect ourselves from infectious bacteria, we must also protect ourselves from spiritual attacks such as depression, hopelessness, despair and other influences that attempt to grip your spirit. Each morning we must ask for Gods covering and protection as Jesus is our protector and our shield. Praise is the greatest way to defeat the works of the devil in your life. When you praise and exalt the name of Jesus the devil and his influences that attempt to harm you must flee. Praise Jesus today that He is your covering, protector, shield, rear guard and front guard. When you keep close to Him nothing can defeat you.
