Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing. PR 12:18. Let your words be heartfelt. Let God’s words flow through you as a healing balm that brings comfort to others. Beware that cynicism doesn’t become a part of your vocabulary so that instead of bringing refreshment you bring gloom. Our words are so powerful, we can build up or tear down, bring healing or hurt. Be careful with children who are impressionable that your words instill in them the revelation that they can do all things with God, rather than a feeling of worthlessness through constant rebukes. Carry with you an atmosphere of grace that will please others when they see you. Pause if you need to react and reflect on what would Jesus say before you respond. Praise God today that He has given us the ability to choose life. Let your words reflect the hope we have in Him and that with God all things are possible.
