The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. Jn 1:5  Martin Luther King, Jr. said “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” Jesus said  in Mk 3:25 “Similarly, a family splintered by feuding will fall apart”. It’s only love that conquers all. If we are to make a difference in our homes, in our relationships and in our world,we must let the love of Jesus shine through our life. We must let forgiveness, compassion and grace reign in all our dealings with others. If we keep our light shining, the darkness in others will eventually give way. Where past wounds run deep we must ask for God’s strength and wisdom and He’ll make a way. Thank God today that He’s forgiven our past and filled us with the light of His love so that we can reach out to a hurting world and make a difference wherever we go.
