I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain. PS 143:6. David knew how to press into God for the breakthrough. He never gave up. He kept hungerring after God and worshipping Him. Psalm 143 is a magnificent prayer of humility faith and trust that God will break through. Even though David was anointed King when he was young there were many times when he could have given up on God while he was being hunted by Saul in the caves and villages where he took refuge. Had he given up, he would not have been king and reached the fulfilment of his God given destiny. He suffered and knew total destitution but he persevered in God until he reached the breakthrough.   Press in, hold on to God like never before and the breakthrough will come.
