I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will never be shaken. PS 62:1,2. We wait in complete confidence knowing that if God is for us, who can be against us. We know that God’s promises are true and we wait on Him with an expectant heart. It’s in that place of quiet stillness our spirit is attuned to His and we can hear His direction. In that sense we wait on Him in an active quietness where we listen to, and obey what God speaks into our spirit. It’s also in that place of quietness that as we look to Him and not our circumstances that we can find rest and peace, even in the midst of the storm. He is our rock and can not fail! Jesus paved the way for us to enjoy a victorious life through our God. Praise God for victorious living today. Don’t focus on your problems but focus on Him, the lover of your soul, deliverer, mighty God.
