Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. This is the essence of all that is taught in the law and the prophets. Mat7:12. So often we can become locked into our own comfort zone that even small requests or interruptions can become inconvenient. Yet Jesus tells us to treat others, respond to them, help them, go out of our way for them, just as though it was us asking them the same things. The Word says you can identify a tree by its fruit. Now if all we have to offer is prickly fruit or thorns, then we need to take a long hard look at ourselves and repent. After all it should be God in us that manifests itself to the world, not our old nature and flesh that was put down when Jesus came into our heart. Put yourself in the other persons shoes before you respond. Praise God today that He will never let you down. Make a change today and let God’s love flow through you like its never flown before.
