Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. Mt 5:21. Where is your treasure? where is your heart? The most important things in life aren’t things, but the relationships in our life. The love we share with others is priceless, yet we can so easily sacrifice those relationships on the altar of ambitious pursuits without even realIsing it. And yet even still, people will run from the greatest treasure of all, the deepest relationship we can experience – the love of Jesus our Lord and saviour in our heart, where we will find acceptance, peace and true love that will never fail us. Religion has turned relationship into rules backed by tradition that couldn’t be further from the truth. Thank Jesus today that He is the greatest treasure of all. As we open our heart and allow His true love to fill us, His love will fill our every need, and overflow to touch the lives others too.
