But now we have been released from the law, for we died to it and are no longer captive to its power. Now we can serve God, not in the old way of obeying the letter of the law, but in the new way of living in the Spirit. Rom 7:6. When we invite Jesus into our heart we are being invited into a relationship with God and not into a life of observance. When we choose to walk in the Spirit our heart becomes aligned with God’s heart and it becomes our desire to please Him and to become more like Jesus. When we live  in the Spirit we will experience true freedom as it becomes our desire to God’s will and not man’s, we choose to be God pleasers and not man pleasers. As we walk in the Spirit we will experience God’s peace beyond words as He is abiding in us. Thank God today that as we live in the Spirit we will experience true freedom, peace and joy in our life that will last forever.
