At Easter we remember the fulfilment of God’s promise to humanity

For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. Jn3:16. At Easter time we remember the fulfilment of God’s promise to humanity. God’s plan to reconcile humanity to Himself was fulfilled when Jesus rose from the dead defeating the curse of sin and death in our life forever. Jesus who was without sin had to die to pay a price that we as mortal beings could not pay. As we believe in what Jesus did for us on the cross at Calvary, He replaces our garments of sin and shame with His cloak of righteousness. This is something we can never earn or deserve, but it’s a free gift of God’s infinite love for us so that we can rejoice in an eternal future with Him. Thank Jesus today for dying for you so that you can have right standing with God and live in the resurrection life that God always intended for you. Prayerchair.org
