Do everything as though you were doing it for God

Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Eph 6:7. If people told your work colleagues you were a Christian what would they say? “No way, you’re kidding!!” or “I knew there was something different, I was wondering why they were always happy”. We are told to be imitators of Christ  so do everything as though you were doing it for God. If you hate your job, pray that God will create another opening, and start looking, so that when you do leave they will see it as a loss rather than a relief! Give all your burdens to God and keep your eyes on Him. He will be your strength in times of weakness, your peace in life’s storms. So don’t let your attitude toward others effect what you do. Let God be your motivation and the lifter of your head. Thank Jesus today that as we try to be more like Him each day, we will experience greater joy, peace and happiness in our life.
