God calls you friend
This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. Jn 15:12-14. You are a friend of God, Jesus calls you friend. He is the all powerful world creating, life giving, awesome God that desires a personal relationship with you. He knows your name, He made you wonderfully, and loves you with all your faults and imperfections. As you ask Jesus into your heart, His love will begin to release new life into every part of your being to the point where it will overflow to touch those around you. As you love Him, it will be your desire to please Him and to follow His ways, so that loving each other as God has loved you will be a priority in your life. Praise God today that you are unconditionally loved and that the creator of the universe knows your name and calls you friend.
