God’s timing is always perfect

But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. 2 Pet 3:8. God’s ways are above our ways and so is His timing. When we call out to God we focus on a moment or situation, whilst God may look at it over our whole life and the lives of others that our lives intersect with. His timing will be perfect to bring the best outcome, we must trust Him and allow that trust to sustain us. As parents we don’t give our children everything they ask for as we know what’s in their best interest, we will insist they do their homework rather than play as we know the long term benefit will outweigh the short term gain. God is our loving Father, and whilst as parents we may not always get it right, God does! Praise God today that He knows the beginning from the end and what’s best for us,so just trust Him and rest in Him and all will be well.
